Deb Buendo: Deb lives in East Longmeadow with her husband Dan and her two college age children. She has a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Massachusetts. Prior to teaching at Busy Bees, Deb taught in Weston, Ma and Enfield, Ct. Deb has been teaching for over 25 years and began teaching at Busy Bees in 1999. In her free time, Deb loves spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, and gardening.
Kathy Griffin: Kathy lives in EL with her husband Tom and her three school age daughters. She has a bachelorís degree in Psychology/ Elementary Education from AIC. Kathy taught third grade in Springfield prior to starting a family, and has been teaching at Busy Bees since 2006. She loves to play with her children, walk her dog, and go for bike rides with her family.
Jeanie Hooper: Jeanie lives in Springfield with her husband, Steve, and dog, Fenway. She has three adult children. Jeanie has a bachelor's degree in psychology/elementary education from Westfield State University, and a master's degree in education with a concentration in reading from Fitchburg State. She likes to read, cook, travel, and spend time with her family. She taught at Busy Bees for six years when her children were young, then taught fourth and fifth grades in Springfield for twelve years before returning to Busy Bees in 2008.
Christin LaFlamme: Christin lives in East Longmeadow with her husband Corey and two children. She has degrees in Liberal Studies and Elementary Education from Westfield State College. In the past Christin has taught kindergarten, preschool, and ran a home daycare. In her free time Christin loves running, spending time with her family and traveling. Christin started working at Busy Bees in 2012.
Diane lives in Longmeadow with her husband John and 3 children. Diane graduated from Russell Sage College with a degree in elementary education and Spanish and has a masterís degree from CCSU. Diane taught kindergarten and English as a second language prior to starting a family and has been at Busy Bees since 2006. She enjoys baking, camping, and spending time with family.
Marna Shields: Marna lives in East Longmeadow with her husband Michael and 3 children. Marna graduated from North Adams State College with a degree in Elementary Education and has a Masterís Degree from Lesley College in Arts and Education. Before starting her family, Marna ran a Kindergarten afterschool program and taught first grade in Longmeadow. She has been with Busy Bees since 2004, and has been Director/Owner since its move in 2007. Marna
